Well said Mulan! Unfortunately some parents think they can buy their child’s love but that’s not how it works. I know a woman who did just this same thing. She felt guilty she wasn’t present in her children’s lives enough growing up so she tried to be more of their friend than parent, buying them whatever they wanted and never telling them no. It’s a sad situation.
